Coroplast Global | News | 14 Apr 2025 Successful opening of the new TAPE HUB in Wuppertal

On April 11, 2025, Coroplast Tape inaugurated its new logistics center on Heinz-Fangman-Straße in Wuppertal. With the TAPE HUB, the company has created a future-oriented location that combines state-of-the-art logistics processes with attractive working conditions.

Ceremonial inauguration

About 100 invited guests – mainly employees involved in the planning, construction and commissioning – attended the event. The opening speeches were given by Natalie Mekelburger, CEO and Chairwoman of the Management Board, Jens Kaufmann, Head of Business Unit Tape, and Sascha Jost, Manager internal logistics. They praised the commitment of everyone involved and the successful implementation of the project.

After the speeches, the guests were given a tour of the new building to get an impression of the modernized warehouse and office space. A buffet rounded off the event with culinary delights.

The new TAPE HUB

The new TAPE HUB combines all core logistics processes in one central location on a total area of 7,750 m² – including 6,500 m² of warehouse space and 1,250 m² of office space. In addition to the technical infrastructure, the building also offers a modern working environment, including a collaborative "work café" and spacious room structures.

With the opening at the beginning of 2025, Coroplast Tape has set an important milestone for further growth and increased efficiency. A total of around 50 employees work at the site - four new jobs were created as a result of the move.

A strong signal for the future – and for the Wuppertal site.
