In 2021, the Coroplast Group will continue to rely on its own young talents
This year, we welcome 16 new apprentices to our company in Wuppertal - in ten different apprenticeship professions, spread across the Coroplast Group, Coroplast Tape and Coroflex.
Good start into a new chapter of life
In August 2021, there was once again a warm welcome for our 16 new apprentices at our headquarters in Wuppertal. This is the fifth year in succession that we have been able to increase the number of apprentices - from a total of 28 in 2016 to 50 in 2021. We are very pleased about this, because as a long-term and sustainable family company we have always relied on our own young talents.
We were also able to recruit young people for 10 different apprenticeships at the Coroplast Group and two business units. This shows us that we are an attractive employer for young talents in the most diverse fields of activity and sectors.
Thus, four industrial management assistants, one IT specialist for system integration and one dual student for business informatics are starting their careers at the Coroplast Group. Coroplast Tape welcomes a machine and plant operator, two mechatronics technicians, two electronics technicians for automation technology, a warehouse specialist and a process mechanic. And Coroflex has been joined by an industrial mechanic, an electronics technician for industrial technology and a process mechanic.
After an intensive onboarding event and several training sessions for apprentices, the new team members are now getting started in the individual departments or in basic training at BZI! We are looking forward to the further training progress and wish all new trainees a lot of success and fun during their vocational training!
