The Coroplast Group attends Europe's leading trade fair for automotive suppliers
The Coroplast Group has been an exhibitor at the IZB since its premiere in 2001. And this autumn, international visitors of this unique industry platform can once again look forward to an impressive product and solution experience at our spacious exhibition stand. Because as the technology leader for technical adhesive tapes, cables and wires, and wire harnesses, our three business units have a number of cutting-edge innovations and, of course, many production-proven standards in their portfolios.
Products and solutions from the wheelhouse to the tailgate
Coroplast Tape: Whether connecting, fixing, sealing, insulating or protecting – with its sophisticated and versatile technical adhesive tapes, our Coroplast Tape business unit is a key innovation driver for the automotive industry worldwide. The fields of application presented at the trade show include, for example, the reliable protection of wire harnesses with wire harness tape or the permanent fastening of components with individual adhesive solutions. Also on display will be robust spacer and spacer solutions based onn UHMW-PE tapes as well as high performance adhesive tapes that help to increase the stability of battery systems. And of course, visitors will learn how they can benefit from the many years of experience in the field of e-mobility.
Coroflex: Our subsidiary brand has made a name for itself as a demanded partner for customized cables and wires. At the IZB, Coroflex, as a pioneer in electromobility, will be presenting its wide range of high-voltage cables, which set decisive standards and have proven themselves in series production worldwide. In addition, the business unit is presenting its new generation of particularly lightweight and flexible HighFlex charging cables with international multi-standard approval for charging stations, wallboxes and as basic equipment for all PHEV and BEV vehicles. With the complementary StyleFlex product line, Coroflex offers a wide range of options for customizing charging cables. And last but not least, visitors can expect the new weight-reduced ABS Sensor Cables as well as exciting discussion regarding the trend of "autonomous driving".
WeWire: Customized wiring harnesses worldwide – our business unit is an experienced full-service provider for numerous automotive manufacturers and Tier1 suppliers. In Wolfsburg, WeWire is demonstrating its expertise in the design, development and production of customized wheel arch wiring with an impressive showpiece. In addition, our business unit will demonstrate its wiring system expertise and the high degree of flexibility in development using in the example of an e-motorcycle realized by the German start-up Novus. Another highlight in the area of Future Mobility: haptically and visually superior charging cables for e-vehicles that stand out in the crowd.
So there is a lot to discover – and even more to talk about together!
The IZB – an event of superlatives
After the long forced break, visitors can expect a completely new concept with 800 exhibitors from 36 countries, spread over 6 halls with a total of 38,000 square metres. The trend towards ever stronger networking is omnipresent – from the motto "Connecting Car Competence" to the composition of the exhibitors and the supporting programme with trend talks, pitches and keynotes by industry experts.
