Donation enables weekend seminar on "Women's Rights in the New Homeland"
In 2021, financial support made it possible to hold a weekend seminar at the Big-gesee Academy. Participants were 13 women from different cultures, who were informed about their rights and obligations in Germany under the topic "Rights of women in the new homeland". The participants were able to discuss topics such as registration and information obligations as well as applications in small groups and then present the results in a plenary session. The feedback from the women was extremely positive.
2022: Further seminar in planning
Another seminar is also planned for 2022. The topic will be "Conflict Management/Conflict Resolution". It deals specifically with culture-related misunderstandings in dealing with immigration. The seminar is intended to help prevent potential conflicts and peacefully manage conflicts that have arisen. The Coroplast Group will again provide funding for its implementation.

Social responsibility and helping to shape society are elementary areas in which the Coroplast Group gladly and consciously assumes responsibility. That is why the Coroplast Group makes a tangible contribution to promoting education and social projects in the region around the Wuppertal site.

About refugio Selbsthilfe häusliche Gewalt e.V.
refugio is a non-profit association that offers free and anonymous counseling to all victims of physical, psychological and sexual violence, as well as support in dealing with the authorities and accompaniment. Founded in 2016, the association also offers various projects for victims from different cultures to exchange ideas and deal with everyday life. Regular events include yoga classes, breakfasts for women and senior citizens' meetings.
