These UL approved TPE sheathed cables are used in the American market. In addition to the Power cores for the power supply the so-called pilot cores are used for communication between road vehicles and charging electronics. The flame-retardant cables are designed for a maximum continuous temperature of 105 °C.
These cables are designed in accordance with UL62 and CSA C22.2 No 49-10. In addition to the EVJE cables for maximum operating voltage up to 300 volts AC, there are EVE cables for a maximum operating voltage of up to 600 volts AC. The approval is according to CULUS under UL file No. E359003 listed.
